My name is Avi, music is my passion.

I have been involved in the entertainment industry as Perth Dj for more than 15 years I have always loved music and the way it works on people.

I started to DJ when I was 15 years old and at 16 I had my first gig in a club. Since then I have worked at many different events; weddings, clubs, house parties, outdoor festivals and more.

Through the years I have gained extensive knowledge of music and the way music works for different people. I have become a somewhat very flexible DJ. I know how to match the right music to the people present at the right time.

To be a DJ is all about timing and awareness of space. To know what music or which track will bring out the potential of every present moment, that is the art of the DJ.

I was the manager and the DJ of Lamuria Dance night at The Fly By Night club in Fremantle.

In my role as manager I deal with issues like; artistic direction, security procedures, super vision of staff, booking performance, media and PR, admin and accounts.

The past 3 years I have been the DJ for The Village Art Market, playing the music that holds the day together and keeps the vibe alive. In this role I also have performed stage management and many other duties involved in keeping this outdoor event running smoothly.

I am also a perth DJ on RTR FM 92.1 radio station, the program I am presenting is full circle and my duties is to create the play list for the program, interview people and entertain the listeners for the 2 hours of the show, I was a good microphone speaker before I started the show 2 years. And now, today I can say, I am a great public speaker and master of ceremony.

My intention in writing about my work as a perth DJ is to give you a view into my background. I have a wealth of experience in many different sides of the entertainment industry and I want you to get the feeling that I am your dj of choice!
